First day in Austria

If you adore stunning landscapes and great hikes, Austria is a perfect county to travel to. This summer I went there for the first time and I was absolutely amazed by the kindness of the local folks, their dangerous driving skills which are practiced on the road and their wonderful regional attires. Furthermore, the spectacular scenery, cosy villages and impressive wild waterfalls made head over heals in love with Austria.

An unexpected turn in Austria

Finally we have planned to visit one of the greatest waterfalls of this area, but that did not turn out as I had expected. What supposed to be the best part of our week in Austria turned out to be a little bit overestimated. Thanks to my great buddy and travel companion Odin, I had to stop the adventure and turn back… with my dog in my arms.

Two Sundays in a Row Kayak Adventure

In one of my previous posts, I already told you that I went kayaking with a friend who had invited me to spend the weekend with her in a holiday house in Oudenaarde, West-Vlaanderen. I had already done it one time in the North Sea at the coast of Oostende, which was actually our official senior school trip. Ever since that crazy experience, I adore kayaking and want to practice this sport in as many different areas as possible.

A dog that does not believe he is a dog

In one of my previous blog posts, you have already met my lovely Border Collie, Odin. Meanwhile, he is not a puppy anymore, but transformed into a sweet, but also tedious dog that is going through puberty. We all have been there, but I can promise you Odin is the most hilarious ‘youngster’ you have ever met, though, I am pretty sure he does not want to believe he is actually a dog.
