Rosengartenschlucht

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

In the apartment in Roppen where we stayed at, there were so many brochures about touristic attractions, challenging hiking trails and geological wonders. We were overloaded with information and possible activities, but one ‘attraction’ has definitely attracted my attention. When I saw pictures of the Rosengartenschlucht in Imst (a village nearby), I was sold right away.

Along the cross of the Hochzeiger mountain (Tirol; Austria)

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

There is nothing I love more than traveling to beautiful destinations and seeking adventures. I am currently in Tirol, Austria to conquer wonderful mountains, to take a dive in the many natural lakes and of course to take a lot of travel photos in this area. I have never really been above the tree line, but there is a first time for everything. The Hochzeiger mountain was on my to-do-list during the two weeks I am spending in Austria, a mountain with a height of 2560 meters! I expected it to be quite an adventure, but this experience exceeded my wildest expectations.

The Ultimate Norway Travel Bucket List

Norway-Bucket-List

A few weeks ago, I’ve written an article about my top ten places to visit or things to do in Iceland. Well, now it’s time to discover the beauty of Norway’s nature too. With its giant, rugged mountains, cute fisher villages, raging rivers, majestic waterfalls and exquisite islands, Norway seems to have everything my heart desires. I waited for my little brothers to get ready and together we went downstairs and enjoyed, once again, a gigantic portion of delicious, sweet morning food. Immediately after breakfast, I went outside with my dog to explore the surroundings.

Here’s the first two days of our trip.

The Ultimate Iceland Travel Bucket List

Untitled-1

Iceland is a wonderful country that is almost the number one place to visit on my list. Many beautiful landscape photos of this vast area can be found on the internet (is there anything you can’t find online?). Here’s my top things-to-do or places-to-visit in Iceland. All photos come from Pinterest. I’ve not taken any photographs myself since I haven’t had the opportunity to travel to this country.

Wonderful evening walks

Black Forest, Germany, evening, walk, nature, landscape, sundown, flowers, sun, clouds, beautiful, coclors

When you spend some days (or weeks) in a foreign country, there are probably many differences if you compare this new place with your home. People have different traditions, the view is stunning and probably not what you are in habit of. Besides, you have another routine than when you spend your days home or at work. That last one means in my case also going later to bed and being more active. Therefore, evening walks are always part of my holiday trip, wherever I go.
